I've been eating homemade fried rice since I was a little tyke. It's a super easy dish to make and I always make. This Chinese fried rice has the flavor those other recipes are missing. I want to dedicate this dish to Bergy, whose recipe "AM & B's Indonesian Mehoon".
Instructions to make Fried rice 2:
- Wash the rice thoroughly and strain in a colander.In a mixing bowl, season the carrot, beans and corn with black pepper, curry, thyme and seasoning. Mix together and allow to marinate. Set this aside. Heat up vegetable oil in a pot. Saute half of the diced onion and garlic paste for 3 minutes. Add the washed rice and toast by stirring continuously for about 5 minutes. Add curry, thyme and fried rice seasoning to the rice.
- Add the chicken stock seasoning and water to cook the rice until soft (not overcooked). Set this aside.
- Place a pan or wok on medium heat. Saute the remaining onion and garlic paste. Add the peppers and stir. Add the marinated veggies and diced sausage. Stir fry for about 5 minutes. Add the cooked rice and fried beef.
- Mix together, check for salt and serve😍👍
