  1. Take 1 Box oven ready lasagna noodles
  2. Get 30 oz Ricotta cheese
  3. Prepare 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  6. Get 1 tsp dried basil
  7. Make ready 26 oz Spaghetti sauce
  8. Get 1 cup water
  9. Prepare 1 lb ground beef, sausage or turkey

Overlap one third of the noodles atop the sauce to cover the pan bottom. Spread all the cooked sausage over the noodles and spoon over another cup of sauce. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook and crumble beef and sausage until no longer pink; drain. Cook the noodles "al dente" so they'll still have quite a bite to them.

Instructions to make Lasagna:
  1. Preheat oven to 425
  2. In large bowl combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, 1/4 cup parmesan eggs and basil. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl combine spaghetti sauce, water and ground beef. Mix well.
  4. In 9x13 pan spread 1 1/2 cups meat sauce, then layer 1/3 Lasagna noodles, then layer 1/2 the cheese mixture, then layer 1/3 remaining meat sauce. Repeat layers. Top with rest of noodles and meat sauce.
  5. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan.
  6. Double wrap tightly with foil.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes.

When they're finished cooking, drain, rinse with cool water, and lay the noodles flat on a sheet of aluminum foil. Whether you are using a baking dish or a skillet, there needs to be an even layer of sauce covering the entire bottom of the pan before any of the other ingredients are added. Don't start layering noodles until you have some sauce underneath. Lasagna is one of the oldest types of pasta, a classic Italian favorite that consists of layered noodles, cheese, sauce and meat.
