- Wash dal & rice properly then soaked for 15 min. blanch the spinach and make a fine paste.
- Take a pressure cooker add dal rice pour water turmeric & salt and cook it. after 3 whistle turn off the gas.
- Now take a handi (mud) put a good amount of ghee it add bay leaves, cumin seed, curry leaves, green chilly, garlic,hing and saute it. now add onion, tomato saute them nicely.
- Add spinach paste and also add all dry masala and cook all things well. now open pressure cooker mix this yellow khichdi with spoon.
- Add this khichdi to the handi and mix it well. then take a small handi for serving like picture I posted.
- Pour a dash of ghee and garnish it with fresh grated coconut and serve it with chutney & butter milk. Here I present with grapes juice also.
