- Get 2 cup whole wheat flour(coarsely powdered)

- Get 1/4th cup toor dal
- Prepare 1/4th cup yellow moong dal
- Make ready 1/4th cup split green moong dal
- Get 2 tbsp desi ghee
- Make ready 2 cloves garlic
- Prepare 2 dry red chilli
- Make ready 2 laung
- Prepare 1 tsp Salt
- Get Pinch heeng/asafoetida
- Take 1/2 tsp haldi
- Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Make ready 1 tsp dhaniya powder
- Take 1 tbsp khichdi masala
- Get 1 tsp jeera
- Prepare 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Get 1/3 cup peanuts
- Get 1 small potato
- Prepare 1 small onion
- Prepare 4 cup water
Instant Khaman (Gram Flour Steamed Cake). Take a tawa and put the bhakhri on it and cook it on both the sides smearing it with ghee. Cook it on a low flame till it is crispy. Serve it hot with garlic curd and achaar.
Instructions to make Masala khichdi- Bhakhri with Instant Garlic Chutney:
- Mix the flour with all ingredients and make a soft dough. Rest it for 5-10 minutes. After this make little thick bhakhari and cook on low flame by applying little ghee on both the sides.
- Take all pulses and rice together and washed it properly and then soak it for half an hour.
- After that add ghee in the cooker when it become hot add heeng,jeera, mustard seeds, laung,dry red chilli,garlic,diced potato,diced onion,peanuts stir it well
- Now add all the masala's salt,haldi,dhaniya powder,red chilli powder,khichdi masala.mix it well
- Then add soaked pulses and rice,mix it properly with masala.add water in it and close the lid properly. Give 3-4 whistles.khichdi is ready
- For Garlic Chutney:- Mix all the ingredients together in the mixer jar and just grind it finely.
In the meantime make the garlic chutney by blitzing all the ingredients together in a blender and season to taste. Assemble by creating a layer of the potatoes, drizzle over the red chutney and the raita, top with the pickled red onions, coriander and nigella seeds. Generally khichdi is a rice and lentil dish but here I have Once the rawness of garlic / ginger goes away add chopped onions.
