- Take 375 g shortcrust pastry
- Make ready 100 g ham sliced into small pieces

Steps to make Cheese and Ham Quiche:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan oven), gas 6
- Lift a roll of pastry over a 20 cm flan tin and carefully unroll it. Press the pastry onto the base and sides of the tin. Neatly trim the pastry hanging over with a sharp knife.
- Use a piece of baking parchment to line the pastry base then cover with baking beans. Put in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the paper and beans then continue to bake for a further 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, break the eggs into a wide jug with the milk and cream, or extra milk, whisk lightly.
- Sprinkle half the cheese over the base of the pastry, then top with the ham. Pour the egg mixture on top before sprinkling the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes untill just firm to touch and a light golden brown colour.
- You can add things such as onions, herbs or bacon!
