- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grate cheese and set aside.
- Boil pasta until al dente. Rinse with cool water, place back in pot, and add a little butter to keep from sticking.
- Over medium heat melt salted butter in a sauce pan. Add mustard and dry ingredients, stirring for 2 minutes. Pour in milk and whisk for 10 minutes until thickened. Add 2 cups of cheese into the sauce until melted.
- Pour sauce over the pasta and stir.
- Add half of the pasta to a buttered casserole dish and sprinkle 1/2 cup of cheese on top. Layer the other half of the pasta on top and sprinkle with 1/2 cup of cheese and bread crumbs.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until top is bubbling and browned.
