- Prepare 500 gms chicken
- Prepare 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

- Take 2-3 green chillies
- Make ready 1 tsp kasoori methi
- Get 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- Take 2 tbsp fresh cream
Instructions to make Reshmi Butter Chicken:
- Marinate the chicken for atleast 45 mins.
- Finely chop two onions. Heat oil in a pan and saute them till they turn golden brown. Remove in a plate.
- Add the sauted onions and cashews in the grinder with a little water and grind them till they turn into a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan. Put in bay leaves and the onion-cashew paste. Saute till they begin to leave oil.
- Add the marinated chicken and saute for 10-12 mins. Cover and cook well.
- Add the kasoori methi and garam masala powder. Mix well.
- Once the gravy reaches the desired consistency, turn off the stove and add the freah cream. Mix well.
- To give a roasted fragrance to the curry, in a small bowl, heat a piece of coal. Place the bowl carefully between the gravy. Add a tbsp of ghee to the hot coal. Immediately cover the dish with a lid for 5 mins.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
